Owners are an essential ingredient in creating Durham Central Market. Those that join in the early stages play a critical role in helping Durham Central Market get off the ground. Also, the earlier you join, the lower your founding number, which we hear carries a certain prestige in co-op circles.

The cost of an owner share is $100, with the option to add additional "shoppers" to the share for $40 each. Each membership counts for one voting share. If two adults in a household would each like to have a vote, we encourage each to purchase an owner share. Owners also receive a discount on certain purchases.

If you join during our Sprouting Drive, going on through April 30, 2009, you will also receive a DCM reusable shopping bag.

To join online, please fill out the membership form and pay for your share using Paypal. Or if you prefer, you can print out the form, and send it, along with your payment, to the address listed on the form. You will soon receive your Ownership Packet in the mail. And Thanks!!!
