Come visit the office of Durham Central Market, 538 Foster Street this Friday 3/17 from 6-9pm, and view a farm-inspired photography series by local artist – Tracey Moon!
Tracey Moon, a former Duke Park and Trinity Park resident, has recently found sanctuary in living on a working organic chicken and herb farm in Mebane, NC. Although she doesn’t consider herself an artist or really even a photographer, her photography has captured a unique view of farm life in NC.
Her most recent work began as a gift, photographing the rustic barn on the property where her partner grew up. Now while living on Bracken Brae farm, Tracey photographs her beloved farm companions on a regular basis. This collection, called the “farm series”, that you’ll see at the Durham Central Market 3rd Friday grew out of a love for open land, hundreds of happy chickens, a donkey, some sheep and five herding dogs.
