1. Welcome Wendy Noel to Membership Committee

2. Current membership is at 321. Robin states she hasn’t received any new memberships since Wednesday which is unusual. Goal to bring 400 new shares by end of April.

3. Brochures and Holders: Suzanne has new holders to replace the old and to place in 10 new locations in Central Durham. She has a list of the ten new locations.

Beth will update the Membership form on the website to delete the T-shirt, will add the question of whether people want the bag, per Robin’s request, and will add question on form about how people found out about DCM (see #4a ).

Thank you to all who participated and provided their ideas and energy! A success!

2. Farmers Market.
Every Saturday Nov 1 - 22, 8-noon
Nov 29 - March 09, 10-noon (Suzanne will provide presence these times)
March 09 - Resume Wednesdays and Saturdays, regular hours

1. Memberships to date: 200 with 11 in process (211). Goal is 300 by October 31, 2008

2. Farmers Market. (Pam)
We need to be sure someone is covering the table. Suzanne and/or a volunteer to assist next two weeks

3. Founders’ Celebration and Community Potluck. Sunday, October 26th 5-7pm. Trotter Building.

1. Memberships to date: 135 with 8 in process (143). Goal is 300 by October 31, 2008

2. Farmers Market.
We have been approved for 9/27 (today) and next week 10/4. How long does FM run? Oct. 31.
Pam reports that we have enough volunteers to staff the table.

3. T-shirts / promos.
Other promo items from Ad Spice: vegetable peeler; shopping bags, leftover kits, sweet potato.

Present: Aubrey, Gretchen, Pam, Robin

1. Memberships to date: 123 with 6 in process (128). Goal is 300 by October 31, 2008
Aubrey asked what happens if we don’t reach 300. Robin replied that we don’t yet have our costs for analyses as well as income taxes so we don’t know what we need. The finance committee needs to advise us on this.

Robin: Ag Extension bldg? (Suzanne); Tent replacement proposed to Board
Pam: Ad created for Duke Park and ONDNA newsletters; brochure holder labels (to Kerry this week); weblinks
Kerry: Send note to ONDNA and Duke Park to get out an email (again) on their listserv; list of top ten businesses.
Gretchen: table and chair rental costs
John & Beth: Continue to press for answers to database
Beth: set up web links; FM on 9/27
Suzanne: post (or try) to DCM website community events (contact Beth if problem)
